IKO mobile application from Inteligo and PKO BP

Post by shukla7789 »

At the end of October this year, IKO mobile payments were officially launched within Inteligo and PKO BP banks. You can pay in stores without having a wallet. Each customer can activate payments directly from the transaction panel of their account. Inteligo is the second bank after PKO BP to provide the "IKO" payment system. There are no fees for downloading and using the application, as well as no commission on the payments themselves.

In addition to the option of paying by phone in stores and withdrawing cash from PKO BP ATMs without using a card, IKO offers a number of options. It allows you to pay on the Internet without logging in to your account. Make regular, defined and phone transfers. Check your account balance and transaction history without entering your login and password for online banking. A self-assigned PIN is enough to log in to the IKO application.
Retail outlets that accept this type of payment are marked with the sticker "Here you can pay with IKO". If a given online store accepts this type of payment; you will see the option "Pay with IKO" among the payment methods.

IKO activation in Inteligo
To activate mobile payments, all you need is an account in Inteligo or PKO BP and a phone with access to the network. The procedure is very simple. In the upper menu bar of our account, we find the IKO icon. We estonia whatsapp database this application to our phone, then give it a PIN number. In the online banking service, we enter the number generated by the IKO application downloaded to the phone. The system automatically links the mobile application on the smartphone with our account in Inteligo. After performing this operation, we can immediately pay by phone.

The fight for a nationwide payment standard
Inteligo Bank, owned by PKO BP, announces the creation of a company associating other banks supporting this payment standard. The largest players on the Polish banking market are to join it, including ING Bank Śląski, mBank , BZWBK, Alior Bank. At the same time, it is counted that other banks will join such a large group, which has a majority market share. Promoting the new standard.
The only larger and competitive payment standard of this type in Poland is currently the PeoPay system owned by Bank Pekao SA. Available, among others, in Biedronka chain stores. So there is a fight for position between both standards, with the advantage of the dominant standard of IKO mobile applications in this group, already available in Inteligo and PKO BP.
