Sensor data and behavioral logs are now collected and stored in all sorts of places, and networks are accelerating the transformation and diversification of human behavior. These trends are giving rise to a variety of new research and industrial fields. Examples include the creation of CAD data for 3D printers, data science that analyzes big data from cloud computing and connects it to service utilization, crowdsourcing that utilizes collective intelligence, gamification that transforms human behavior, the industrial internet that combines sensors and computing in industrial systems, the use of IT in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, including plant factories, and the accelerating trend of MOOC education aimed at people all over the world. In other words, it is no exaggeration to say that society has entered a period of great change.
This trend signifies that the meaning of "computer use" is undergoing major changes telegram number database and diversification from its traditional meaning.
Therefore, CIEC (The Society for Computer-Aided Education), which has been researching "learning in a media society," should take this opportunity to look squarely at "computer use and education in new research and industrial fields" and consider the relationship between computers and education in these activities.



This year's PC Conference will take up this theme as a symposium, with a panel discussion featuring experts from various fields.
