Mac Studio and Studio Display, Apple's new "beasts"

Post by Bappy10 »

The Mac Studio will be available in two variants , one equipped with the M1 Max chip and another equipped with the extremely powerful M1 Ultra with a 20-core CPU, up to 64-core GPU, up to 128GB of unified memory and 800GB per second of bandwidth.

This rugged computer is, according to Apple, up to 60 percent faster than the Mac Pro with a 28-core Intel Xeon chip.

Perfect to accompany the new Mac Studio is the new 27-inch Studio Display that Apple finland number data presented yesterday and whose "look" is reminiscent of that of the iMac computers with M1 chip.

The resolution of this monitor is 5K and inside it there is an A13 chip (the same chip as the iPhone), which is used to control the camera and the speakers integrated into the screen.

Neither the Mac Studio nor the Studio Display will be cheap, of course. The former will start at €2,239 and the latter at €1,779. These are, however, only the reference prices for devices with an M1 Max chip. With the M1 Ultra chip lurking in its bowels, the Mac Studio will cost €4,629. This is obviously a computer focused first and foremost on professional use.
