Slow Design has the endorsement of Google!

Post by monira#$1244 »

When I first saw the title "Google", I was secretly delighted:

Haven’t we been quietly working on optimizing the user experience? Suddenly, a sense of pride came over me, as if a talented horse had been chosen by a good horse trainer!

However, after I carefully read the details of Google, I found that we are so unconfident! ~

In fact, what our design team has done, both in breadth and depth, has surpassed the user experience concept required by Google. Let me analyze it in detail for you:

First of all, what is LCP?

Simply put, it is how long it takes for the first largest content ("frame" of the content) in a page of your website to be presented - because the first large content should also be the most attractive to users. If the content loads slowly, it will be very bad for the user experience.

Taking e-commerce websites as an example, the first and largest bahamas b2b leads content is the main product image (for independent websites, it is the banner), and the time it takes for the image to be presented by the user's browser is the LCP.

LCP does not measure the loading time of the largest content on your entire web page, but how many seconds it takes to load the first largest content that users see after opening your web page.

In fact, our designers have noticed this very early. For example, we basically use compressed jpg images for banners without affecting the display effect, and rarely use png or video displays (except in special cases). We even try to control the color range and content of the images, because this also determines the size of the image and the length of the loading time. However, we do not recommend using image carousels (1. The actual reading efficiency of the carousel is low, and 2. There are loading issues).
