« Lizbeth Roman is a Puerto Rican artist known for her musical and theatrical work. She is known for her histrionic and powerful performances and her ingenious way of playing with storytelling, performance and song. Janice Maisonet
«Puerto Rican saxophonist, composer and producer. Janice Maisonet was the first female saxophonist to graduate from the Department of Jazz and Music of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico in 2012. She has collaborated with artists such as: Maestro Cucco Peña, Tego Calderón, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Pedro Capó, Atención Atención, Ileana Cabra, Lenny Tavárez and others. In 2017 she won her first Grammy Award as a musician for Ile’s album “Ilevitable.”
In addition to this, she remains active playing and producing independent music with her projects ÉMINA and Galactic Tree, as well as collaborating with other artists in the music scene in and outside of Puerto Rico. In 2020, Janice was chosen as an artist of the prestigious Yamaha brand to represent them in Latin America and the Caribbean. Then, in 2021, she received a scholarship from the Chamber Music America organization as one of the “Jazz Female Leads” in the United States to be chosen to make a professional recording of her music. Janice Maisonet’s first album with “Galactic Tree” will be released soon.
