Changes to 384-FZ and new mandatory GOSTs

Post by thouhidul32 »

From September 1 of this year, technical regulation 384-FZ changed, which directly affected the examination requirements. The main changes concern the expansion of the list of standards and technical requirements included in the regulation. This applies, in particular, to eight sets of rules and eight GOST standards, which have now become mandatory and are subject to strict implementation. The use of the register of requirements will be included in the subject of examination from March 2026.

The new register will include a list of GOSTs and SPs, among which documents regulating BIM will play an germany phone number list important role. For example, the technical regulations will include GOST 21.101, which assumes that any design documentation prepared using TIM must be interchangeable with the text and graphic part of the project. These mandatory requirements are aimed at ensuring a holistic presentation of design solutions regardless of the format of the documentation. Ignoring them will be equated to failure to comply with the requirements of the technical regulations.

Requirements and recommendations for the development of digital models
Against the backdrop of changes in regulatory documents, the Ministry of Construction is actively developing and introducing additional documents regulating the process of creating digital information models. In particular, requirements have been formulated for various categories of objects. The design documents contain information on the parameters of digital models, including mandatory and optional attributes for such sections as architecture, design, water supply and sanitation.

This will allow customers to adapt requirements to the specifics of the project, but at the same time will create certain difficulties for construction companies: non-compliance with mandatory parameters may result in a refusal to approve the documentation.

As an alternative to the general requirements, companies can develop their own standards for information modeling. However, the approval of such standards by specialized technical committees can take from 144 days to several years.

Final words
The obligation to comply with new standards will require additional efforts from design organizations. In the context of increasing control, design companies must take into account not only the functional requirements of the customer, but also what is prescribed in the standards, developing internal resources to ensure a high level of design and modeling.

"The dynamics of legislation are changing very much. It needs to be taken into account. I do not recommend that you stand aside, because it affects your interests, it affects your productivity and the burdens that you will have to fulfill for the sake of appearance," the expert concluded.
