CEBRASP, the organizing body for ENEM 2024, has a different approach compared to the previous one. The previous body aimed to make the grading as objective as possible, creating a standardization in the process.
CEBRASP has a different view, adopting a more rigorous criterion to evaluate the use of repertoires in newsrooms.
According to the new guidelines, any use of repertoire that is not directly related to the topic will be penalized. In other words, a list of us mobile number database that previously went unnoticed can now compromise the candidate's score.
New training for ENEM correctors: what to expect from the new correction
The training of the proofreaders made it clear that they will now evaluate the repertoire with much greater criteria. For a repertoire to be considered valid and productive, it needs to be well-founded and fit clearly and relevantly into the context of the text.
It is not enough to simply quote something superficially or generically. The use of repertoire will be observed more critically, and the reviewers have been instructed not to accept “pocket” repertoires or those without a clear connection to the discussion.
This means that if a candidate uses an example or quote that is not directly related to the topic or is used in a generic way, they will lose points in the skill.
ENEM Competence 2:
Competency 2, which assesses argumentation, has not undergone major changes, but will now be even more rigorous. To achieve the maximum score in this competency, the repertoire used must not only be relevant, but also productive in a clear and effective manner.
Previously, candidates could use the repertoires quickly, in a specific way. Now, they need to work on these repertoires better in the context of the text.
Furthermore, an important change occurred in competence 3, which concerns the cohesion and coherence of the text. Previously, the use of an inadequate or unproductive repertoire did not directly impact the score for competence 3.
However, with the new guidelines, if the repertoire is misused, this could result in an argumentative gap and, consequently, impact the grade in this skill.
