How to discover audience overlaps

If your ads are affected by internal competition, you should act quickly. Avoid using the same audience targeting in different ad groups at the same time. If that doesn't work for you, you have two options:
1. Reduce your ad groups to a minimum.
If your ad sets have a significant audience overlap, consider combining the two ad groups into one. This will prevent further cannibalization of your ad and provide Facebook with clear guidelines.
2. Always exclude target groups from each other.
Every single time I target audiences, I don't exclude additional people. Excluding audiences in targeting should always be used to prevent Facebook from showing your ads to users you don't want to reach with your ad—regardless of india mobile number data whether the ad is irrelevant to them, they've already purchased a product, or they've already been reached through other means.
Returning to my previous example, simply add audiences B, C, and D as exclusions to Audience A's targeting (Website Custom Audience). While core audiences based on demographics and interest targeting can't be directly excluded in other ad sets, you can easily save the corresponding audience and exclude it in other ad groups.
You can check in detail whether ad sets are actually competing against each other in Delivery Insights. To do this, go back to Ads Manager. Click on the ad group level and hover over the delivery status. The ad set must be active and have already generated 500 impressions to provide delivery insights.
If the conditions are met, you'll see a pop-up window with "View Delivery Insights." Select it and go to the Auction Overlap tab. Facebook will show you the three most important overlaps, which you can then address using targeting.
Conclusion
Enough input for today! I'd just like to add a final word:
Competition between your ad groups has a significant impact on your campaign results. Using the same audiences in different ad groups can be disastrous. Therefore, prevent competition during campaign creation by excluding audiences from each other. This should prevent audience overlap, and you'll be safe from ad cannibalization.
