Google Analytics makes it possible

The first tools for monitoring success were visitor counters. However, these were rather unreliable and provided only rough information about website visitors. It wasn't until Google Analytics, a solution originally developed by Urchin Software Corp., that clarity was brought about, allowing for better management and monitoring of advertising campaigns' success.

Technically, the solution is relatively simple. Using a tracking code installed on the website benin phone number data being measured, Google could now track certain user activities on the website and collect additional information. At this point, it became clear how powerful Google really is and how much data, some of it personal, it already had, making Google Analytics problematic from a data protection perspective.

But in addition to the usual measurement criteria such as origin, dwell time, bounce page, etc., there are also some other data and measurement criteria that website operators want to capture. We use Google Tag Manager as a solution for this issue.

The Google Tag Manager allows the creation of tags for:

Google AdWords Conversion Tracking,
Google Analytics,
Google Display Network (primarily for GDN Remarketing),
Facebook Pixel,
Hotjar,
custom variables for images (for all other image pixels) and
custom HTML variables,
and many more.
There are now numerous tags that can be easily implemented in Tag Manager via integration. But that's not the topic of this post.
