8 Zoom settings you didn't know about

We have been actively using Zoom for a year and a half and already know how to turn on the screen demonstration, use reactions, and blur the background (just don’t replace it with an image of a beach – this fashion remained in early 2020). However, almost every video call still begins with someone forgetting to turn on the sound. Some useful features of the program are still unknown to many. Let’s talk about them in more detail.
Leave the conference in one click
Normally, it takes two clicks to leave a Zoom meeting. This is b2b email list because the “Ask me to confirm before I leave” checkbox is automatically checked in the “General” tab of Zoom’s settings. If you uncheck it, you can leave Zoom meetings with just one click, avoiding the confusion or mild annoyance of having to double-click.
Adjust appearance
This feature is located in the Video tab of the settings. To prevent an unexpected pimple from spoiling your mood, you can blur the skin and brighten the tone of your face. You can adjust the degree of application of the filter. However, you should be careful when using this setting - people may not take you seriously if you look like an out-of-focus portrait from the 1970s.
Reduce background noise
On the Sound tab, you can choose how much background noise is reduced. The default is Automatic, but there are other options, from low to high, which can eliminate keystrokes and even barking.
Quickly invite a participant
Alt+i (Windows) or command+i (Mac) is one of the easiest and most useful keyboard shortcuts for Zoom. Pressing it during a meeting allows you to quickly invite contacts within your organization or send an email to those outside of your organization. The invitation pop-up also lets you copy the conference link or invitation and see the meeting access code.
