By analyzing the responses given by the different devices and comparing them with the SERPs, we have confirmed that, when it comes to local intent queries:

When comparing the results from the Android Phone (with an account attached) and the regular Google SERP (without signing into any account), we saw that the results seem to be roughly the same.
We established the location at the Empire State Building, did some searching, and came up with the following evidence:
