Using an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client is another effective method for bulk installing WordPress plugins. It allows you to upload files directly from your computer to your website's server, which is especially useful for premium plugins or custom setups.

In our experience, FTP is a good option if you want to install multiple plugins that aren't available in the WordPress.org directory. For example, we often use FTP to upload premium plugins like those in our Ultimate WordPress Toolkit , which includes our best plugins for all new websites.

First, you will need FTP credentials to connect to your WordPress website. These can usually be found in your hosting provider's email or in your account's cPanel dashboard.

For example, if you are using Bluehost, navigate to your list of denmark cell phone number account dashboard and click the Site Settings button.

Bluehost site settings
Switch to the “Advanced” tab and scroll down to the “cPanel” section.

Next, you need to click on Manage to launch the cPanel dashboard.

In cPanel, locate the “Files” location and click on “FTP Accounts” to find your login information.

Next, choose an FTP client. We recommend FileZilla, one of the best FTP clients for beginners and advanced users alike.

Once FileZilla is installed, open it and navigate to File » Site Manager . Add a new website and enter the FTP credentials you found earlier. Make sure the host field has “ftp.” before your domain name, for example ftp.example.com.
