Subtitles are an optional part of a press release. But they can be very useful to highlight a message you want to share.

You can use them to highlight data from your publication. Or some key results that you will share in your ad.

Let's take another look at the financial results announcement to see some effective subtitles (which are in italics):

Semrush Financial Results Announcement Subtitles
The first sub-item concerns the main data of the financial update. And it paraguay email list reveals that the revenues increased compared to the previous year.

The second subtitle mentions another great milestone: exceeding 100,000 paying customers.

Both subtitles provide readers with the necessary information about this release. And entice them to read more.

Dateline
Body copy should begin with a date: the first line of a body paragraph that contains the place of origin and date of publication.

Here is an example of a dateline from a Semrush press release:

By using a reference date, you indicate that the story is current and where it is relevant.

The location listed in the dateline must match your business location.

What about companies with multiple locations?

Generally, you should use the headquarters. That's where the news comes from.

But it may happen that one of the other offices publishes a press release that concerns only its office. In this case, you will have to use the office of that office.

For example, Pipedrive is a company based in New York.

Most of their press releases list New York as their place of residence.

But sometimes they use the premises of another office.
