How to create forms in Google to embed on your website

Post by shukla7789 »

If you need to include a contact form (or any other type) on your website, a quick and easy way to do so is to use a Google form. It is not the best option, since it uses an iframe (something that is not very well regarded in SEO) but it is a good way out if the website is for personal use. Now I am going to explain how to create forms on Google step by step.

How to create forms in Google
#1 To create a form you must be logged into your Google account. Once you have done this, you can go to the Google Forms page .

#2 You can create a new form from scratch or choose from one of the templates that Google makes available to you.

#3 I recommend choosing the Contact Information template and facebook database any changes you need to it. You can change or delete any field after clicking on it, add new fields, change the color palette…

In the floating side menu there is the option to Add Question (the + inside the circle)

You just have to write the question and choose its type: short answer, paragraph, checkbox, dropdown… You can also choose whether the question is mandatory or not; if it is mandatory, the user will have to answer it to submit the form.

#4 The simplest contact form you can make for your website would include fields for name, email, and message. Remember that with the GDPR, the less information you ask your users for, the better, and remember that you should always collect their consent, so add a checkbox to make sure they agree to your privacy policy.

#5 Once you are satisfied with your form, all you have to do is insert it into your website. To do this, click on the send button in the upper right corner of the page and click Send by selecting the Insert HTML option.

What you get is the HTML code ready to insert into your website and display the form on any page.

The responses from Internet users will be stored in Google Forms associated with the form you have created (don't worry, only you will be able to see the responses unless you have decided to make the form public) and you will receive an email notification with each new response.

I hope this tutorial has been helpful to you in having a form on your site. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them in the comments.
