3 Writing Tips to Make Your Inbound Content Stand Out

Post by shukla9966 »

When we take the content of our Inbound Marketing project blog seriously, following the interests and needs of one or more personas (representations of a company's ideal customers) and respecting the frequency of publications, the desire to highlight it on the web begins to grow within us. It is at this moment that we realize how difficult it is to retain the attention of readers, who are surrounded by information of all kinds, segmented or not, and need to choose the ones that really make a difference in their lives or that can help them boost their own businesses. With so many options, the questions arise: how can I make my blog relevant and, more than that, how can I make readers stay on the site and read the content until the end? Unfortunately, there is no recipe for the success that everyone wants. However, there are ways to keep them closer to you and, with that, convert them into leads and even customers in the future. To help you on this journey, we have put together some Content Marketing tips , which are part of the Inbound Marketing strategy, combined with the experience of those who have been writing for a long time:

1 - Find a rhythm for your inbound content
A good text needs to mix short, medium and long sentences. “What do you mean?”, you ask me. This is called textual movement. Long paragraphs with only one full stop and no commas are scary. They taiwan telephone number the impression that they were written in a hurry, in any way. Respect the punctuation and interruptions in your post.

In addition, your content should vary in intensity. When you get to the section related to the main objective of your text, make it special, drawing the reader or potential client closer. Talk to them, ask questions and encourage them to reflect on everything they are reading. The text can have several answers and, for each one of them, give the deserved emphasis.

2 - Add more emotion to your posts
Your content needs to be reliable, simple and have an emotional impact. Don’t worry, your text doesn’t need to make anyone cry or die laughing. The emotion I’m talking about is the one that delights the reader, in the sense of informing them what they most want to know, of promoting dialogue as if the person who wrote it knew them well and, most importantly, the post that provides a solution to their problems, doubts and needs.

If you manage to reach this point, it’s likely that you’ve won a lead or are already in the stage of customer loyalty. That’s why it’s so important to know who your business’s persona is. It’s much easier to write imagining one reader/customer profile than multiple ones, with different personalities and desires. After all, that’s what your blog was created for.

In the post “ Why are personas and content the soul of Inbound Marketing? ” you’ll find more tips on these two subjects.

3 - Final touch
After finishing your post, don't click publish before reviewing it from beginning to end. Pay attention to your spelling, checking for duplicate words or typos and excessive spacing. Eliminate sections that don't mean anything to the reader and, if there are technical terms, explain them in a simple way. This also applies to acronyms. There's no point in putting MQL in the middle of the text if you don't explain its meaning: Marketing Qualified Lead.

Reviewing means cutting, adjusting, changing, adapting and even transforming what was written in order to make your publication clearer, more objective and more appealing .

After all this, read the text and edit it if it's monotonous and too rigid. If necessary, lengthen a paragraph or two, add a touch of empathy to the topics covered, use metaphors, give examples. In short, use all the alternatives you have to make it more interesting.

With these three ingredients, your posts will certainly be more flavorful and will hardly be forgotten by those who savor them. Try it!
